New Studio Update

We are getting closer and closer to moving to the new building! But as with most construction projects, the planned opening date keeps moving!
We are now hoping to be in the new building around Thanksgiving, which is only a few weeks away. So I would say the new group classes should get started in December. My plan is to make the move, get the Pilates schedule running and smooth for a week or two, then kick off the other group classes. Because December is typically a very slow month for fitness classes with the holidays and all, I do not plan on doing a big push for classes until the end of December and into January. It will also give instructors a chance to get into the flow of things before the classes get bigger. But those of you that have been keeping up with updates will know the moment the schedule is public and can sign up for classes as soon as you’re ready! I will notify you on this blog as well as social media when classes will start. December will be a great time to try hot yoga….

The sign on the new building is up, and it looks beautiful! The ceiling grid and lights are up in the GroupX room and Reformer room, and they are working on installing the infrared heat panels for hot yoga in the GroupX room. Sound system is going in mid to late November.Â
How it will work:
Ive mentioned the GroupX room and the Reformer room a few times in my updates but though you might like to know a little more detail on the building.Â
the Elevate building will house Elevate Fit Co… as well as Elevate Physical Therapy, Elevate Health, 308 Chiropractic, Monica Johnson (massage therapy), and a sauna.Â
There will be monthly gym memberships available, but as the main gym space is also the physical therapy clinic, we don’t plan on advertising for gym memberships until we see how the workflow is. We are trying to make sure that we don’t oversell gym memberships and have crowding. So, if you are interested in a gym membership, please let me know so you’ll be the first to know when it is available, in case we have to put a limit on memberships. Gym memberships will have a keycard access to the gym space before and after regular business hours, but it will not be open 24 hours per day. Available hours will be announce later.
Elevate Fit co will have 2 rooms in the building. One room will be the reformer room- what I have currently, but more than twice the size. My hope is to get one or even two more reformers, but that likely won’t happen for a few months yet at the earliest. The other room will be called the GroupX Room. This is where yoga, mat Pilates, senior strength, HIIT, and barre classes will be. This room will have a cushioned floor, a sound system, and heat panels (only in use for hot classes). Hot classes will be designated in the schedule, and may also be seasonal. We will likely reduce or pause hot classes during the summer depending on what members want!
There will be two types of GroupX classes. Regular (45-60 minutes) and Xpress (30 minutes). Pricing will reflect those two different categories. I will go over pricing in another post.
